Our mission to provide the best ability-based education for gifted students has resulted in our students outperforming all other schools in the midwest.  Each year, Cyprus adds students to the list of those who have been awarded 1st place out of 40,000 students who participated in NUMATS (Northwestern University Academic Talent Search) and students who are awarded for scoring in the top 2% of all participants.  Cyprus Academy's biggest win so far was in 2019-2020 with three 1st-place winners and a top 1% award winner for several grades.  The preliminary results for the 2020-2021 school year are in, and all indications are that we will have the most award winners in our history.  This only can happen in a small school with only 40-50 students if the education is exceptional and beyond what any other school provides.

Cyprus Academy provides ability-based education to intellectually gifted children in order to challenge them to strive for excellence at their individual pace of learning within a small classroom environment.
