Literature, Composition,
and Public Speaking

Literature and Composition

Picture
Once Cyprus students are reading fluently, we begin separating the Literature, Composition, and Public Speaking components from Language Arts classes.  Students read works of excellent literature, analyze each work, write about it, and then present it.  Students begin their writing with a simple paragraph and gradually work on their writing skills until they are able to write  analytical and research papers of around ten pages.  Below is the list of books our 2016-2017 graduates read from the time they were 5-6 years old to their graduation.
