Literature, Composition, and Presentation
When Cyprus students are reading fluently and ready for more in-depth studies of literature, students take both a Literature/Composition/Public Speaking class and a Language Arts class. Each class engages in Socratic discussions, diving deep into analysis of the literature. Students are mentored in their writing skills from the time they are very young, beginning with writing a simple paragraph and over time, learning various styles of writing, and working toward writing analytical and research papers.
